Endevre ID 5.1 Introduces Standards-Compliant OAuth and OpenID Connect

Endevre today announces Endevre ID 5.1, with its production rollout scheduled to complete on July 29, 2026. The release introduces a standards-compliant OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect provider and a unified, account-aware authorization experience.

The provider supports the authorization-code flow with S256 Proof Key for Code Exchange, OpenID Connect discovery, JSON Web Key Sets, signed identity tokens, UserInfo, refresh-token rotation, token revocation, and session-aware logout.

The release also adds controls for registering applications across approved domains and preserving stable user identity while an existing integration migrates. Current Endevre applications can continue operating during this transition, with each integration moving to the new provider through a controlled migration.
